A surveillance tape reportedly showing troubled star Britney Spears getting intimate with two female dancers at a New York club has become the latest hot gossip over the Internet.

Apparently, Britneay Spears changed into fishnet stockings and a bikini while partying with dancers at the nightclub on 12 February 2007 - and things got steamy with the threesome. When a manager at the club discovered damaging video footage of the incident, the dancers were subsequently fired, a source told the New York Daily News.

The manager said that both girls cried about it when they got fired, but they didn't deny it.

According to the newspaper, there are also pictures of Britney Spears' bare bottom, which were taken while she was trying on panties with the dancers.

Jordan Miller -- the owner and webmaster of Britney Spears' most popular fan site, BreatheHeavy.com -- has spent the past five years supporting the singer, but he's about to be shut down by the pop star herself.

Although Miller asserts that the sole purpose of the site is "to support the icon of our generation, Britney Spears, and to continuously stick by her through the good and bad," Spears' father Jamie has taken legal action over some of the content.



"I have been battling the conservatorship Britney is currently placed under for months now," Miller wrote in a message to fellow fans on the site's homepage Friday. "When I did not conform to the requests and demands Britney’s management and father, Jamie Spears, recently put upon BreatheHeavy to stay quiet, they in turn became angry and malicious, launching, what I feel is an unjust attack, against me and my website."

He received a legal notice from Jamie’s lawyers pressuring him to dismantle the site by 3 p.m. PST Friday, or face an injunction, claiming they will pursue legal action by Jamie, who is allowed to do so as her conservator.

Miller also wrote that Brad Rose, the lawyer representing Spears in this case, told him in a telephone conversation that "you are an uber fan who’s gone a little too far."

Spears' legal team claims the site is "replete with willful, unauthorized" use of copyrighted lyrics to songs as well as video and audio recordings and photos of Spears.

"This entire site thrives because of you, the fans, who support Britney by buying tickets to her show, merchandise and music," he wrote. "Sadly, your hard-earned money that goes to supporting your favorite celebrity, is now money being used to potentially sue me, a major fan and supporter of Britney Spears, and hide fans from knowing the truth."

He added: "This conservatorship Britney is placed under, which controls every aspect of her life, is now clenching the future of her biggest fansite," Miller writes.

Because his site, which is a non-profitable endeavor, costs a minimum of $350 per month to run, he is asking viewers to donate funds until "the situation has been handled."

If the site remains online, Spears' legal team says they will pursue damages and "injunctive relief in connection with the blatant violation of her rights of publicity and privacy."

Lynne Spears said on NBC's "Today" show Wednesday that Jamie Lynn — 16 years old at the time — handed her the note and told her to go into the bedroom and read it.

The note said she was pregnant but "everything was gonna be OK, mom" and that she and boyfriend Casey Aldridge were going to raise the baby.

"I thought it was a joke," Spears said in an interview. "... I kept waiting for the punch line."

Spears said she realized it wasn't a joke because Aldridge, a pipe-layer from Liberty, Miss., wouldn't look at her.

"I was just truly in shock and then I started to cry. And then she started consoling me at that point," said Spears, who writes of Jamie Lynn and her older daughter, Britney, in her new memoir, "Through the Storm."

Lynne Spears said she blames herself for what happened.

"As a mother, don't we always blame ourselves? I mean, we're the first one that's gonna take the blame," she said. "We never get the credit, but we always question ourselves and say, 'What did I do? We had this talk just a month ago.' I mean, I had no idea. I took a lot of the blame. I took all the blame."

Jamie Lynn, who starred in the Nickelodeon series "Zoey 101," announced her pregnancy last December. She and Aldridge welcomed daughter Maddie Briann in June. The couple are now engaged.

Lynne Spears says every mother makes mistakes but she has no regrets about letting her daughters Britney and Jamie Lynn pursue their dreams of stardom.

"I think you have to let them follow their dreams. I think it would be worse in the end if you didn't," Spears, 53, told People magazine in an interview marking the publication next week of her much-anticipated memoir.

As Britney's star rose, Spears said she felt she was losing control over both her daughter and how she was portrayed.

"I let other people talk me out of things that I felt a gut instinct about," she told People.

Ever since she flounced on to television screens 10 years ago aged 16, pouting and twirling her schoolgirl's uniform, doomsayers have predicted the self-destruction of Britney Spears.

And it came to pass – or so it seemed. After 83 million record sales, two marriages, two divorces, two children, a lost custody battle, repeated psychiatric evaluations, tens of thousands of paparazzi, a nude magazine cover and the most globalised of breakdowns, the singer seemed finished, professionally – if not as meat for the snappers' lenses – come February 2008.

When her husband won custody of their children, Spears did not sleep for four days and was sectioned at the prestigious Los Angeles Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre. She was reported to be suffering from bipolar disorder, manic depression.

Sunday night, though, brought a return to what passes for comparative normality. Spears won three statuettes at the MTV Video Music Awards in an evening hailed as the "resurrection" of her pop career.

If anybody knows how to make a splash at the VMAs, it's Britney Spears. Over the past nine years she's dazzled us with stripteases, barely there outfits and some of the finest reptilian-accessorized dance moves ever to grace an MTV stage. With Britney's 2008 VMA appearance looming on the horizon, we here at MTV News want to take a few moments to reminisce about her finest moments on the show.

Before her first VMA appearance in 1999, an anxious 17-year-old Spears went shopping for the big event with MTV News correspondent Serena Altschul, finally picking a sparkly, black Todd Oldham number. Little did we know how important Brit's wardrobe choices would later become. She changed into a body-hugging black belly shirt and pants to team up with fellow teen dreams 'NSYNC for their classroom-themed performance of " ... Baby One More Time" and "Tearin' Up My Heart." The following year, Britney made another fashion statement. While covering the Rolling Stones' "Satisfaction," Spears was apparently unsatisfied with her tuxedo. So, when it was time to switch over to "Oops ... I Did It Again," she ripped it off to reveal a flesh-colored outfit that left very little to the imagination.

Spears tried to top that striptease in 2001, giving us three different moments to remember. In a promo for the show, she agreed to teach host Jamie Foxx some of her moves, and the two got down to Chuck Berry's "You Never Can Tell." Things got weirder on the red carpet, when she met Mick Jagger, who appeared not to know who she was. But our own Kurt Loder made Brit happy by pointing out that Keith Richards' daughter was a huge fan of hers. Of course, the main event that year was her sultry performance of "I'm a Slave 4 U," for which she draped herself in a python and slithered around a steamy garden setting, surrounded by dancers in zebra and tiger outfits. The whole affair pleased teenage boys everywhere, but left PETA very angry.

Not all of Britney's moments have been about sexing up the show. In 2002, she donned a dominatrix costume, presented Michael Jackson with a birthday cake and referred to him as the "artist of the millennium." Michael thought that meant he was receiving some new Artist of the Millennium award and gave an acceptance speech, turning what was supposed to be a sweet birthday celebration into one memorable moment.

This paved the way for what would be Britney's most provocative VMA performance yet: Her now infamous 2003 kiss with Madonna, who also kissed Christina Aguilera, during "Like a Virgin." The lip-lock shocked and amused everyone in the audience, including Spears' ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake.

In 2006, a pregnant Britney made her tamest VMA appearance via video, as she and Kevin Federline presented the award for Best R&B Video. At the time, she and K-Fed were happily married and expecting their second son. It was only a matter of time before that all came crashing down.

Last year's "Gimme More" fiasco is still fresh in everyone's memories, and the events of Spears' life since then made many wonder if yet another hyped Britney comeback was wise this year. But the pop princess appears to be getting back on her feet at last, and she has three VMA nods at stake this year (she's come home empty-handed after her previous 16 nominations). We're keeping our fingers crossed that the former VMA queen can dazzle us the way she used to.

The man to whom Britney Spears lost her virginity has been identified. Hot on the heels of Lynne Spears' claim on her tell-all book that Britney lost her virginity to her eighteen-year-old high school sweetheart when she was just fourteen, the guy in question steps forward, speaking his very own version of story about his old romance with Britney.

The guy, whose name is Reg Jones, is now 30 years old. He had an interview with the Daily Mirror on Friday, September 5 to which he confessed that he and Britney were very in love. "Britney was very passionate. I'd often stay over at her house and we'd fool around like any young couple," he revealed, adding that their age difference "didn't seem to matter" for them at that time.

Recalling his old days with Britney, Jones admired her as he thought "she was everything a boy could have wanted - great-looking, always laughing and liked by everyone." He also admitted that he was heartbroken when she dumped him for singer Justin Timberlake.

Deeply saddened by their split, Jones claimed that as time goes by he still thinks of Britney and keeps a photograph of her wearing a black bra. No words from Britney's camp about Jones' revelation.

Lynne, whose tell-all tome "Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World" will be released on September 16, wrote in it that Britney has sex for the very first time with her then boyfriend, a Kentwood, La., high school football player. In the book she also testified that she went along with the lie that her famous daughter was still virgin, even though she didn't, and tried hard to convince people to believe so.

Dishing on Britney's dark past, Lynne also recalled the first time she experimented with drugs and alcohol. She as well openly expressed her regret for not handling Britney's career early on that later in the future led to her public breakdown.
