Exclusive News: Actress Mandy Moore and indie rocker Ryan Adams get married
Pop singer Mandy Moore and rocker Ryan Adams have tied the knot in a ceremony that could hardly be called "extraordinary."
The couple wed Tuesday in Savannah, Georgia, reports US Magazine, and both of the stars reps have confirmed the marriage.
The wedding should come as no surprise since Moore and Adams announced their engagement in February and Moore said she wanted the wedding to be "less … of a big deal."
"Hopefully, it can happen and slip by unnoticed by everybody," said the 24-year-old songstress known for hits like "Extraordinary" and movies like "A Walk to Remember."
"I guess we have to be sort of sneaky about it, but I'll see what I can accomplish."
Moore, who has been dating the 34-year-old hipster Adams on-and-off since March 2008, added that she has never been the type of girl to obsess over a fairy tale wedding and that she hadn’t given a thought to her dress.
"I kind of feel like, because I've been able to get married in a few films, I kind of got the whole giant wedding fuss out of my system," the "License to Wed" star said.
Moore also appears on the April cover of "Marie Claire," where she dishes about her new hubby.
"[He’s] a good egg. I'm in awe of him - his brain, his passion," Moore told the magazine. "He's truly one of a kind."
