Bankrupt Former TV Star Willie Aames Holds a Garage Sale
Willie Aames, the cash-strapped former star of Eight is Enough and Charles in Charge, is taking to his front yard to make some extra money.
Aames -- who filed for bankruptcy this year and has his house in foreclosure -- sold off his belongings during a garage sale at his home in Olathe, a suburb of Kansas City, on Thursday.
He made deals with dozens of bargain-hunters and even signed autographs, The Huffington Post reports.
Aames, 48, parted with antiques, artwork, a piano and deer head mounts, as well as television and movie memorabilia.
A production crew filmed the sale for a TV documentary about his life.
